Community Education Registration Policies

  • Register Early
Many classes fill quickly. Other classes cancel needlessly when registrations aren't received in time to meet minimum class enrollment. Please register by the deadline indicated after each activity so we can make enrollment decisions. If there is not a deadline listed, please register at least one week in advance. We will accept registrations as long as room is available.

    Are You Registered?
Assume the course will be held at the time and place indicated and that you are enrolled unless you hear differently from the Community Education office. Receipts or class confirmations will not be sent. Simply show up for the class and enjoy.

    Special Needs
Our programs and classes are open to all ability levels. If you have a disability and assistance is needed in participating in any Community Education activity, or if you have questions about accessibility, call us.

    Class Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment. When an activity is canceled, Community Education will make every effort to contact registrants 48 hours before the scheduled start of the activity. Please be sure to provide a daytime phone number when you register so we can reach you if a class is canceled. Complete refunds will be given when this occurs.

    Photographs
By registering for any Community Education activity, you acknowledge for yourself or those you are registering that photographs may be taken and used in Community Education publications, flyers, websites or other advertising.

    Non-Endorsement Policy
Instructors teaching for Community Education are obtained because they have a special skill or expertise that they are willing to share with the community. Although Community Education does not endorse the opinions or business affiliations of our instructors, we strive to provide a quality educational experience for our participants.

    Refund Policy
Persons who wish to withdraw their registration must do so no later than 2 full business days prior to the class start date or by the published registration deadline in order to receive a refund. For instance, if a class starts on a Monday, the refund request must be received in the Community Ed. office by 4 pm on Wednesday of the prior week. No refunds will be made to trips after the registration deadline.
