  • meisch

My name is Chris Meisch and I consider it an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to serve as the DC High School in my forth-year as Principal. I have been in education for over 20 years in which I have been afforded the opportunity to be a Coach, Teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal and a Lead Principal.

My educational background includes an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse, a Masters Degree from Saint Mary's University, a Principal & Superintendent License from Saint Cloud State, and a Human Resources Certification from the University of Minnesota. I currently reside in Buffalo, MN with my wife Chelsea and our two children, Sophia and Nolan. I am extremely proud to lead and serve in such a great community and school district.

My name is Brian Westby and I will be serving as Dean of Students this year. This will be my first year in this position, but it will be my 20th year of working at DCHS. I have served in Social Studies, Focus, and Special Education for various years while at DC, along with coaching.

While my positions have changed over the years, what has always been most important to me is getting to know people and developing relationships. I am excited about starting this new adventure.

My wife and I have four kids in 9, 7, 5, and 3 grade. When I am not watching my kids' activities, I enjoy being outside, working on projects, reading, and spending time with my family. We enjoyed a trip to Kentucky this summer where we saw so many things, but the highlights were visiting Mammoth Cave and the Ark.

I am excited for this upcoming school year and can't wait to see the great things that will happen!
