7 Student related injuries, 3 had missed time

Building/Department reports: Severe weather week
Do we have enough space to fit students in a designated space

Dassel Elementary - Teachers will work with students related to severe weather tomorrow

Cokato Elementary - holes in plaster in gym at Cokato

Middle School - Drill at 1:45 and have ample space to hold students, some rugs at entrances are starting peal up

High School - will participate in the drill tomorrow

Food Service - hood in Cokato is being looked at, hood in HS is maximized for what it is

EC/Community Ed - leak in small gym, will participate in the drill tomorrow
Old Business:

Lead in Water-
We will be testing 110 fixtures before July 1
We will have to get a lead and water plan to the school board for approval

OSHA visit -
Closing consultation was completed

Eyewash station blocked in HS kitchen

Compressor was not properly guarded

Electrical panels without covers

Joiner in woodshop where guard was not working

Have 20 days to contest the citations

Storage of flammables in science; cabinet was not closed, no venting

PPE - metal shop; anti-weld spatter; was not using goggles and gloves

Fit test and medical evaluation was not done for custodian administering the chemicals in the pool

Compressed gas in metal shop - air hose did not have a way to control pressure

HS Art room - 8 pottery wheels plugged into one power strip

Employee training; BBP & ERK - employees hired mid-year did not have the proper training
-
Machine guarding - abrasive wheel was missing the necessary guarding

Oxygen and acetylene was stored together

Ground shop west door - pressure sensor was bad
All citations have been fixed. Will wait to receive the official mailing and then respond.

Discussion:
Proper lifting techniques during the move due to remodel. Please make sure employees are working safely.
Asbestos abatement in the HS was discussed
First aid kits-send email during workshop to see who has kits and see who needs supplies replenished
