Please join us for a Community Open House event!

The past couple of months brought school district staff and community members together through a series of engagement meetings.  These meetings helped review and assess current facility needs and produced several prioritized projects throughout our school buildings.  At the same time, a comprehensive facilities assessment was conducted and provided insight into the current state of many of our infrastructure systems.

Recently, an architect from SitelogIQ (the planning, design, and management company currently partnering with the school district) has been working with staff-based focused groups to incorporate ideas by creating plan options specific to our buildings.

On April 28th, Dassel-Cokato Schools will host an Open House between 4:00-8:00 pm and would like to invite community members to attend.

Move on your own, or in small groups, touring spaces being considered for potential projects as part of the August bond referendum. The feedback you give during the Open House is an important part of the process.  It helps determine what is best for our students and community while addressing facility needs. Feedback received will be shared with and considered by the School Board as they work to determine the scope of this bond.

During the Open House you’ll experience:

  • Current space conditions, layout, and utilization
  • Future needs and visions for spaces
  • Potential concepts and learn how changes can benefit students
  • Opportunities to provide feedback for School Board consideration
  • Hear from staff and StielogIQ team members
