Thank you for your support!

On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, voters in the Dassel-Cokato School District approved a single-question bond referendum in the amount of $17,900,000. Following the vote, the unofficial election results are: 1300 YES (57%) and 1000 NO (43%).

I am thankful for all of the conversations that I was able to have surrounding our Bond question.  It was great to see how engaged our community was in the process from the first meetings this past winter to the presentations this summer.  I am looking forward to the increased opportunities for all students that this Bond will provide and the community saw fit to support.

The vision of Dassel-Cokato Schools is: Educate. Innovate. Succeed. In true spirit, we have fulfilled our vision today by educating the community about-the needs, creating innovative solutions through a collaborative group of staff and community members and successfully passing a bond providing long term student and facility solutions.

This fall we will continue working with our partners at SitelogIQ to begin the engineering work and bid specifications.  Community members will be able to follow the progress through the district’s website.

We will continue to keep the community informed on the progress of the current and future building projects.  This an exciting time to be a DC Charger and we are beyond thrilled to move forward with projects that improve our facilities, our community, and provide new opportunities for our students for years to come.

On behalf of Dassel-Cokato Schools, we would like to thank the entire community and all those who dedicated their time and efforts toward the success of this referendum.  Our school district is the heart of this community and this truly is CHARGER NATION.

Sincerely,
Mark Raymond
Superintendent
