Four of our high achieving middle school math students that were part of the MathCounts team at the regional competition at St. Cloud state on February 6th were invited to the State MathCounts Competition at the Crown Plaza in Plymouth on March 8-9th. Only 128 students from the state were invited to attend the state competition. (This was only 10% of the students that attended the regional competition.)

 

Students Include: Marina Koski(8th grade), Oscar Heltunen(8th grade), Jazmyn Olson(8th grade), and Jackson Blom(6th grade)

 

In the pictures:  They fed us well...buffet dinner, breakfast and lunch.  The Friday evening activity ...the competition was to build the best(strongest) bridge with it being cost effective.
