  • I’m sincerely grateful and humbled to receive the Ed Otto award, although the true recognition belongs to the amazing Middle School teachers, staff, and incredible kids.  I’m truly fortunate to spend a little time each week working with these amazing kids - it’s a highlight of my week. - Peter Bortnem

“I’m so grateful to receive this award. Supporting our students is an investment in our future and I am always glad to take the time to help lift them up.  If you think about your time and how even an hour a week if it’s reading with students in a class, supporting a sports booster program to help kids with equipment, or scholarship fees, the impact of serving others and seeing how it can be a ripple effect is amazing.”  -Dawn Gillman
