Hello! My name is Alisa Johnson and I'm the Principal of Dassel-Cokato Middle School. I'm originally from Litchfield but have lived and taught in Dassel-Cokato for almost 29 years. Besides being principal, I taught 5th grade and was also the Dean of Students.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends and a fun tidbit about me is that I used to be an L/DC Hockey cheerleader.
Each school year gives us an opportunity to grow and learn! I look forward to seeing you in the halls and classrooms at DCMS. Be GREAT! Be GRATEFUL! Please feel free to contact me at Alisa.Johnson[at]dc.k12.mn.us or by calling (320) 286-4100 Ext. 1604.

Welcome to DCMS! My name is Steve Burrill, and I'm the Dean of Students. This is my first year with DC but my fifteenth year in education! I plan to work collectively with the principal, staff, students, and families toward maintaining a positive school climate here in the middle school. Student attendance and discipline, student council and statewide testing, and Middle School Activities Director are areas I oversee.I was born and raised in Metro-Detroit, and unfortunately, no, I have never met Eminem or Kid Rock. I have lived in Minnesota for a decade now, along with my wife and our three children. When I'm not at school, I can be found trying to navigate all the adventures that come with family life! My wife and I both come from larger families, and with that comes a lot of traveling to visit out of state. If you ever have any questions or concerns, you can contact me via email: steven.burrill[at]dc.k12.mn.us or office: (320) 286-4100 ext. 1608.I'm looking forward to a successful year with all the staff, students, and families!
