Meet Our Principal
Hello! My name is Alisa Johnson and I'm the Principal of Dassel-Cokato Middle School. I'm originally from Litchfield but have lived and taught in Dassel-Cokato for almost 29 years. Besides being principal, I taught 5th grade and was also the Dean of Students.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends and a fun tidbit about me is that I used to be an L/DC Hockey cheerleader.
Each school year gives us an opportunity to grow and learn! I look forward to seeing you in the halls and classrooms at DCMS. Be GREAT! Be GRATEFUL! Please feel free to contact me at Alisa.Johnson[at]dc.k12.mn.us or by calling (320) 286-4100 Ext. 1604.
Hello! My name is Ms. Reedy, and I am the new Dean of Students at DCMS. This is the start of my fifteenth year in education and returning to Dassel-Cokato Schools after an 8-year hiatus away in the Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District.
I feel such a sense of pride to be back working with the students, staff, and families at DCMS. You might hear from me regarding student attendance, discipline, district and state-wide testing, and middle school activities. My goal as the Dean of Students is to build positive relationships while also ensuring each student feels a sense of belonging within our walls.I was born and raised in Buffalo--which is also where I currently live with my husband, two children (Sophia and Sawyer), and two dogs (Bo and Rip). When I'm not at school or cheering on the Chargers, I enjoy reading, playing board games, and spending time with my immediate and extended family. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever have questions or concerns regarding the opportunities here at DCMS. At the very least, be sure to stop by and say hello! Here's to a successful 2023-2024 school year. GO CHARGERS!
